Cookies and Browser Storage

Effective date: 22 October 2026Last updated: 22 October 2026

Good news: there’s no enormous cookie banner asking you to share your browsing habits with 47 mysterious advertising partners. VaultHQ uses only the essential browser storage needed to keep you securely signed in—and sadly, none of it is edible.

In short

VaultHQ does not use cookies or similar browser storage for advertising, analytics or tracking. We use only the essential browser storage needed to keep accounts secure and keep users signed in.

Essential browser storage

When you sign in, VaultHQ stores the information needed to maintain your secure session and allow you to move between authorised VaultHQ services without repeatedly signing in. This information is used only to provide and protect your account.

Why there is no cookie banner

VaultHQ currently uses only browser storage that is necessary to provide sign-in, session continuity and account security. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking storage, so we do not currently display a consent banner. If we introduce non-essential storage in future, we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Removing browser storage

You can remove VaultHQ’s browser storage by signing out or clearing VaultHQ’s site data through your browser settings. You will then need to sign in again.
